Disaster benefit program. MCMP has pooled interests with Lakeshore Federated Dairy Cooperative, which helps members when milk production loss catastrophes occur. These include fire, windstorm, snow, power failures, and lightning damage. The program pays $250 for every cow killed by lightning or electrocution. The program assures your dairy income if such events happen; coverage will apply as stated within the LFDC guidelines.
Communications network. Our reliable office staff generates up-to-date computerized lab test reports, web site service and informs our membership of current dairy news through the newsletter and special notices. MCMP annual spring district area meetings give you an opportunity for input and help make our organization as efficient and successful as it it today.
Field service is provided by our professional staff, working for you on milk marketing, quality assurance, and other dairy related service needs.

Nutrition education and dairy product promotion. Through sponsorship of the National Dairy Board/DMI and Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, we highlight the nutritious and high quality products manufactured in the Midwest. Your board has also directed donations to many members' and county promotion events over the years to help accelerate sales of our product and to also educate the consumer in the process.
Milwaukee Cooperative Milk Producer members are served and represented by an elected Board of Directors, each director representing their own district. We function in a team atmosphere, effectively representing all of our members' best interests.

Enhancing producer income. Through our effective membership in Central Milk Producers Cooperative we are able to band together with other co-ops in the Chicago market to collectively negotiate and bargain with handlers to set prices well over the Federal Order minimum. This ensures an adequate supply of fluid milk for consumers and provides for orderly marketing for handlers. CMPC's ability to work together to set premium prices maximizes your returns. Keep in mind that the higher the percentage of fluid utilization, the higher your blend price will be.
Milwaukee Milk also provides scholarship opportunities to producer family members' who want to pursue a college education.
